User guide

  • The light/on&off™ system provides driving assistance but does not replace an attentive driver.
  • When driving in a country requiring the permanent use of headlights, please disable light/on&off™ and switch the lights on manually.  Please conform to your local jurisdiction.
  • On vehicles equipped with mechanical controls, high beam headlights may only be switched on when the switch is already in low beam position. With light on&off, the switch must be manually set to low beam position in order to remain in high beam.
  • The same operation is necessary for the foglights, which are activated when the switch is set to low beam position on some vehicles.
  • Never dismantle, repair or alter the product. This can cause malfunctions and serious damage not only to the product but also to the vehicle.
  • Keep the sensor dry when cleaning the vehicle interior. Water can damage the electronic circuits and cause electric shock.
  • Avoid contact with chemicals and detergents, which can damage the product's surface and internal circuits.
  • Avoid mechanical shock, which can damage the mechanical and electronic components, resulting in permanent damage and functional deterioration.
  • To ensure the highest standard of performance of the system:
    • Keep the sensor away from liquids.
    • Do not manipulate the sensor once it is installed.
    • Do not expose the sensor or the ECU to shock.
    • Make sure that the windscreen is clean.
    • Avoid removing and replacing the sensor on the windscreen.
