FAQ
1. A distance is displayed and/or a sound signal is triggered when there is no obstacle behind the vehicle.
- Check that the sensors have not been installed too low (height) and that they are not pointing to the ground (angle).
- Check that the sensor is not installed upside-down.
- Unplug one sensor at a time to identify the cause of the anomaly.
2. A low obstacle behind the vehicle is not detected by the beep&park® system.
- Check that the sensors have not been installed too high (height) and that they are not pointing to the sky (angle).
- Check that the sensor is not installed upside-down.
3. Blurred or poor quality image on the display.
- Check that there is no dirt or water on the camera lens.
- Clean the lens using a cloth and alcohol, and then dry it with a clean cloth.
- Check that sufficient power is reaching the ECU.
4. The display indicates a defective sensor (three beeps when the screen is activated).
- Check that the sensor surface is clean.
- Check that the sensor wires are properly plugged into the ECU.
- Check that the sensor wires are not damaged.
5. The display message states that the reverse gear has not been selected.
- Check that the power wire of ECU is connected to the reverse light wire.
6. The object's position does not correspond to the correct indicator on the display.
- Check that the sensor wires are plugged into the ECU in the correct order (using the markers ABCD).
- Has the image on the display been inverted, using the button at the back of the screen on the left?
7. There is no image on the display.
- Check that the engine has been started and that the vehicle is in reverse.
- Check that all electric cables are properly connected.
- Check that the display's settings are correct.
